Foxy, an Ibizan hound mix, was found as a stray in the woods. She was 5 or 6 months old and was quickly adopted by a nice family and something wonderful was discovered about Foxy. She loves children. The new home has a 3 year old boy, Alex, that she watches over.
If Alex gets close to a ledge or anything that would hurt him, Foxy gets in front of Alex and pushes him away from the danger. And when mom can not find him when he is hiding, all she hads to do is ask Foxy to go look for him and she finds him every time.	Foxy was leery of people for a while, but after being in her new home for about a month, she now will let people pet her, and she gives kisses by pressing her nose on your cheek! She loves her little boy and plays with him every day.
